Melange comes from the French mélange, which comes from mêler – „to mix”. It means a mixture, a medley or a blend. Melange colour is an effect obtained by mixing of fibers in different colors before the blend. It stands out from multicoloured fabrics as it has a unique and ambiguous colour effect.
